Reasons why yesterday was a pretty much all around excellent day.At 12am Friday morning, I was watching Inception. To start your day with something of those epic proportions is already pretty damn good. I went to Cinnaholic for lunch, and the worker there gave me an extra ‘blueberry pie’ cinnamon roll FOR FREE. What?! She said that I mentioned I’d be having a stressful day, and since no one picked up their order, I could have it. :*) I love people.Interview at HarperOne: I sort of made ‘friends’ with the security guy in the lobby, and he ended up making me feel a lot less nervous going in. Turns out I didn’t need to be nervous at all, since everyone I met was SO nice! Oh, and the first person I interviewed with gave me a free copy of one of their new books since I mentioned my interest in it. alsfkj asldfkasjdf als words alsfjalsfkj sf. Security guy on the way out asked me how it went and said he really hoped I got it. D’aw.Went to exchange my watch for a nonbroken one, and on my way out of the mall I ran into Sam. I love it when things like that happen! I mean, what are the chances?! And, he gave me a ride home, wooo hooo. Got something in the mail I had been waiting for, and a postcard from Kchoi from London <3 Dinner was meh, BUT on my way there I ran into Yafine and Nicolette. Um, embarrassing statement to say online (but I say it in person all the time anyway, so idgaf), but…I. FREAKING. LOVE. THEM. Seriously, it just totally lit up my already wonderful day. Party at Emily’s, where I made some new acquaintances and ran into seriously the most random group of people from my past. At 12am Friday morning, I was watching Inception. To start your day with something of those epic proportions is already pretty damn good.
I went to Cinnaholic for lunch, and the worker there gave me an extra ‘blueberry pie’ cinnamon roll FOR FREE. What?! She said that I mentioned I’d be having a stressful day, and since no one picked up their order, I could have it. :*) I love people.
