A reunion after almost a year apart. It’s hard to believe that time could pass so quickly, or that our lives could change so much. But it’s also beautiful that despite it all you can fall back into the ease and comfort of an old friendship. Catching up over my favorite meal (brunch), dropping off Sarah’s bags, and rushing to Rockefeller Center to be a bird and stare at the roofs of Manhattan. The view was incredible, and it was the first time I felt truly in awe of the city, this triumph of human nature and progress and chaotic insanity. I took so many photos, but in the end what stayed with me was lying down on white couches to stare at the buttons of my friend’s coat and talk and talk as the minutes slipped away..
